Malacanang has officially declared Proclamation No. 459, s. 2012 for special non working holidays, A special school holiday and regular holidays of the Republic of the Philippines for the whole year of 2013. From here we can plan our travels and adventures for next year ahead! Isn't that exciting!?

REGULAR HOLIDAYS
- January 1 - New Year (Tuesday) - Long weekend from December 29 to January 1.
- March 28 - Maundy Thursday
- March 29 - Good Friday
- April 9 - National Hero's Day (Tuesday)
- May 1 - Labor Day (Wednesday)
- June 12 - Independence Day (Wednesday)
- August 26 - National Heros Day (Monday)
- November 30 - Bonifacio Day (Saturday)
- December 25 - Christmas Day (Wednesday)
- December 30 - Rizal Day (Monday)
SPECIAL NON WORKING HOLIDAYS
- March 30 - Black Saturday
- August 21 - Ninoy Aquino Day (Wednesday)

Based on Section 2 of the said Proclamation "The Proclamations declaring holidays for observance of Eid'l Fit'r and Eidul Adha shall hereafter be issued after the approximate dates of Islamic Holidays have been determined in accordance with the Islamic calendar (Hijra) or lunar calendar, or upon Islamic astronomical calculations, whichever is possible or convenient. To this end, the National Communication on Muslim Filipino (NCMF) shall inform the Office of the President on which day the holiday shall fall."
